“Jen is such a talented voice trainer and therapist, she has helped me so much to feminize my voice. She has helped me surpass all my expectations for what I could achieve and was supportive the whole way through my journey. Everytime I met with her she knew exactly what I needed to do to help correct in my voice and move me in the correct direction, along with very helpful exercises.

I lost my voice in the level 4 lockdown and it didn’t improve in level 3 when I went back to the office so my GP signed me off work for 6 weeks. You have helped me to understand the workings of the vocal cords, throat and airflow to create a voice. I now have the techniques to relax my throat, jaw & mouth as I realize I carry my tension there. In the last week I have been out Xmas shopping, visiting family and friends, using my voice more than I have in the last 15 weeks and my voice has been fine. I am confident that with the knowledge and techniques I now have I can have a consistent voice. Thank you very much for your help and support.

Just letting you know that I'm progressing well with my voice. You have helped me to understand the workings of the vocal cord, throat and airflow to create a voice. I now have the techniques to relax my throat, jaw & mouth as I realise I carry my tension there.
When I first lost my voice I was told not to talk, to rest my voice, which was easy in Level 4 lockdown WFH on my own. I was asked to go back to the office to work at the beginning of level 3. My GP said no to this and I ended up WFH for another 6 weeks on a medical certificate, and told to rest my voice.
Being in lockdown and WFH I have not used my voice regularly. In the last week I have been out Xmas shopping, visiting family and friends, using my voice more than I have in the last 15 weeks and my voice has been fine. I am confident that with the knowledge and techniques I now have I can have a consistent voice. I have my neice's Hens celebration on Saturday so that will be a test for my voice.
Thank you very much for your help and support.
“In preparation of a national toastmasters speech competition I found Jennifer's sessions really helpful. I liked the clear structure, her ability to explain underlying principles, especially with the challenges that come as having English as my second language. She provided in-depth resources that enabled me to practice by myself between sessions. I was able to better control volume, rhythm, and pronounce English consonants correctly, and use body language in new way. Jennifer has an eye for detail in creating a program that was tailored to my individual needs and goals. I can highly recommend Jennifer as a speech therapist who is providing a high standard service online. “

“Jennifer put my mind at ease after I was diagnosed with vocal nodules. She clearly explained the underlying cause, which helped me to realise what I needed to do to fix my voice problem. She wanted to know about me, and she empowered me to come up with solutions on my own. I learnt so much about the voice, how to look after it and use it correctly. I feel really confident that I won’t run into any voice problems in future now. Thank you so much Jennifer. I’m a teacher, and really need my voice for work. It has been a life changing process to understand how to care for my voice. Jennifer’s empathy, passion, professionalism and generally what was called ‘bedside manner’ was a credit at a stressful time".

"It's amazing to see what a difference that six months of voice coaching and practicing have made. Jennifer, I can't thank you enough. My presentation skills and ability to clearly project my voice have really improved. The last three months have been self-practice, building on the techniques we worked on face to face together in the first three months. I'm more relaxed and confident too and would recommend Jennifer to anyone willing to put in the work to make a real difference.”

“Jennifer instilled belief that with work, endeavour, practice and time, the voice would transition with me. At the point of the first occasion I walked into her office, I was constantly being misgendered on the phone. Online (You Tube) was very ‘hit and miss’ and weeding out what to believe…… Jennifer provided ‘belief’ from day one that through the program, I could actually lift my range, drop the resonance and learn more of inflections and developing a much more feminine pattern. Despite going on to have vocal fold surgery, I had the foundations installed in me through therapy to get the best from my voice and feel more confident communicating with strangers. In my option surgery is only the cherry upon the cake. Without the cake, you only have a cherry!”

"I have been having voice therapy will Jennifer for a couple of months. I have found her very helpful, understanding and patient. She clearly demonstrated what I needed to do and provided really helpful feedback. She explains things so I understand them. I can’t believe I’ve made this much progress already and feel confident to continue my therapy plan on my own now. I highly recommend her services. Thanks Jen.”
